Lupine Trail in Crested Butte is a great high-alpine ride that has mellow climbs and flowy descents. Heading back toward town from Gunsight Pass, Mt. Crested Butte looms in the distance and grows bigger with every mile. Passing above Peanut Lake provides an amazing view which leads straight back into town. One of my favorite mountain bike rides that starts and ends in town with aspen groves mountain valleys in-between.
